What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, pixels, or tags, work in a similar way: they make it possible to remember preferences, tell one browser or session apart from another, and measure how a site is used.
On their own, cookies do not reveal your name or your real identity. They can only be linked to an identified person when there is additional information obtained legitimately, for example, data you yourself provide to us.
Which technologies does VidaMar use?
VidaMar uses its own storage in your browser so that the site and the simulator work and to remember your privacy choice. Cloudflare, the network that delivers the site, also sets a security cookie. PostHog counts visits and what is used on the site: without your authorization, only anonymously, without cookies or recordings. Only with your authorization does VidaMar also store in your browser what you looked at in the simulator and activate PostHog's cookies and recordings, HubSpot's tracking code (analytics), and Meta Pixel (marketing). We group them into the following categories.
Necessary
They are essential to remember your privacy choice, protect the site, and enable the features you request, such as building and sharing your quote or submitting a form. They cannot be disabled because they are necessary for the site to work.
Functional
Only if you accept, they remember in your own browser what you looked at in the simulator, including on your later visits. They are not sent to anyone while you browse: they only accompany your request if you decide to send us a form, so that your advisor can assist you better.
Analytics
They measure, in aggregate, how the site is used: which pages are visited, which source the traffic comes from, and how visitors navigate. This currently includes PostHog and HubSpot's tracking code. If you accept, PostHog uses a cookie to recognize your browser between visits, records where you click, and records your session to improve the site, always with what you type in forms hidden; HubSpot's code is only activated if you accept. If you do not accept, PostHog only counts your visit and what you use on the site anonymously: it stores no cookies, does not record your session, and does not create a profile; your visit is distinguished only during that day by a code that PostHog calculates on its servers and deletes daily. PostHog processes this data on servers in the United States.
Marketing
With your authorization, they are used for campaign measurement, advertising attribution, and remarketing. This currently includes Meta Pixel.
Third parties
The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts: Google receives your browser's IP address when delivering them, without cookies. If you pay your reservation deposit by card, you do so on Openpay's payment page: its own policies and technologies apply there, and VidaMar does not receive your card details. When you interact with third-party services, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, Instagram, or Facebook, their own terms, policies, and technologies apply, which we do not control from our site.

How to accept, reject, or change cookies
When you enter the site, you choose between Accept and Necessary only. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings, also available in the site's footer. If you choose Necessary only or withdraw your authorization, we stop sending events to HubSpot and Meta, delete the associated cookies from our domain where technically possible, and delete from your browser what we stored from the simulator and what Meta Pixel stored there. PostHog keeps counting your visit only anonymously, without cookies or recordings.
Blocking optional technologies does not prevent general access to the site. You can also delete or block cookies and the site's storage from your browser settings.
